      It's been a few years since busy Emmy Award--winning television host Cohen has released a new book, but he's back with an homage to powerful women. For each day of the year Cohen stylishly presents a unique quote, many from women he's encountered in his decades in television. The quotees are from all levels of stardom and infamy, including Bravo's "Real Housewives" castmates, musicians, actresses, politicians, and royalty. Quotes range from lighthearted musings about bad hair days (Goldie Hawn), to R-rated retorts (Kim Zolciak-Biermann), to more vital topics like transgender rights (Laverne Cox). Following each quote is a brief reflection that in most cases includes an opinion or a joke from Cohen. Readers will enjoy finding their favorite "Bravo-lebrities" and Real Housewives interspersed throughout the book, and even some wise words from Cohen's mom. Each daily quote is also thoughtfully paired with a corresponding fact related to that person or date. Cohen does an excellent job of representing an inclusive spectrum of women while blending both superficial and serious advice.
